I don't know about the "lite" version of Ultrakote, but I can answer about Goldberg. The Ultrakote used by Goldberg is the same Ultrakote sold by Hangar 9/Horizion Hobby. With Goldberg recently being purchased by Great Planes you can expect for future planes to be covered in Monokote because Ultrakote is the product of GP's competitor. I spoke with a rep from Hobbico about the covering on the Goldberg Falcon and they way they are phrasing is is "A premium polyester heat shrink material".

As a side note Oracover is the name that Ultrakote is sold under overseas.

Ken, does polyester indicate that it is some type of fabric?

Hummmm I'm thinking that polyester is some form of plastic and not fabric. Guess I was thinking of the 60's with the polyester suits.

Ultracote lite is a thinner covering material and thus it weighs less and is quite transparent.
