Bruce are you ever going to answer this ? My son just got a Dazzler with Hitec radio gear in it that is on a different freq. I have a Futaba crystal on his freq but don't want to stick it in there and just turn it on for fear of burning somthing up

It definitely won't burn it up. I just don't know if it will work. I haven't used Hitec RX's and don't like to speak on stuff I'm not familiar with. I also don't EVER recommend crossing brands with crystals. Someone else may have a better idea on this than I do.

Sorry.

I have interchanged Futaba and Hitec with no problems. I do prefer to stick with same brands but like I said it worked for me.
Make sure to do a good range check before flying.

Thanks guys I think I will just get a Hitec crystal. I really needed an excuse to go to the LHS anyway
