if i have this battery i cant balance the cells right?

That is correct. no balancing on that one. Check Flightpower I think they have some that size with the balance tap installed.

i was just using that as an example because i have 2 kokam 3s 1500mah batteries that i bought with a plane and only have a deans connector. so i cant balance them? how would that affect the batteries?

well, Generally for receiver/transmitter use balancing really is not required because of the low current draw. still advisable though. I would reccomend any lipo being used for anything other than receivers/transmitters to be balanced at every charge. best bet is not to over charge/discharge and maybe you can get away without balancing(for a little while anyways), I prefer to balance my cells for added security and safety especially during charging.

Your best bet with a non balance lipo, is to keep the charge rate at exactly or a bit below 1c,
or 1.5 amps on your kokams. Also keep the current draw within reason, and after a flight
wait for the battery to fully cool down before recharge. The more heat the pack builds
the more out of balance the center cell on a 3 cell will become, this happens because the
cell in the center can't cool as well as the outer 2. also a good rule of thumb is to only use
about 80% of the packs capacity to give it a good long life.
