RE: Why join a club
I join the club because I didn't know how too fly.I found out long time ago that if you want too learn more about what you are doing get too know the people that you are working with and try too fit into what ever you are doing. If you join A club the club members will work with you and help you ( more ) then if you are not A member in most casees. My club I join has all good people in it and all of them will help anyone any time. The club fee for our members are $40.00 A year,We have A blacktop runway it is on own by the State Game and wild life. They donated the land too the club for as long as we want it but everything we build on it stays on it if we leave. That is my under standing of it.Out of the club doe we have are field mowed once every two weeks if the grass is growing so any time anyone comes too the field they can fly with out mowing the grass with there props. So in my apenion if you fly at A field I think you should help keep it up and not be A free loader.Being A free loader don't get you the kind of help you need when you are just getting started in flying and building these planes. This is only my thoughts on this subjust.
