Hi all.
Over the course of the last 5-6 weeks, I've been spending a lot of time here, as well as doing research on other areas of the internet. About once a week, I run across a term being used in an article or thread post that makes me think, "What the hell does that mean?"
Most have been relatively easy to figure out, like dual rates, exponential, and dihedral. Others have been a little trickier, such as "crabbing". I've seen it used, but it wasn't until I read the thread on landing techniques that I figured out what it actually meant.
So.........
Newbies (myself included): Are there any terms you've heard thrown around that the more experienced fliers here might be able to clarify for you?
I figure it might be easier to have this sort of stuff consolidated in one thread that can be used as a reference.
Thanks & have a great holiday!

Anytime you need a model airplane definition just search for it in the RCU glossary where our members have already done this for you back three or four years ago.
You can also paste the word into the Google search box with the word "wikki" or "definition" and Google will have an answer for you?
