We are at about 26 degrees with a 11 mph N.W. wind, with snow furries. Late night we had snow showers early. When it went to just flurries and a few icy roads.

Well, up in Southern Wisconsin its snowing - (I'm sure theirs more to come), and FREEZING ! What I do is go on the simulator, RCU, occasional nap, TV, and enjoy the warmth in the house. Usually, by the time next morning theirs more snow added to the existing snow.

I don't want to live around the Great Lakes. A bud of mine sent me a pic of his back yard from Erie, Pa. on November 5 th. 10 inches.

North-west lower Michigan (bottom of the pinkie finger). I woke up to the first snowfall of the year, about 4 inches of snow and temps in the lower 30's. Late afternoon it dropped to near 20 and now, at midnight, it's a balmy 10 degrees.
Great building weather and I know I have until at least April to get any project done.

In July `93, I moved from Temple, Tx to Elkhorn Wi. I got up on my birthday, Aug. 17th, and had to scrape frost from my windshield. It wasn't hard to decide that my butt needed to be back in Texas. The weather here in SC isn't much different from Central Tx ... Hot and humid in the summer, cool in the winter. I called my Dad in Midland, Tx this evening and he said he got 6" there and people were going nuts.

It is all what you like and are used too. I personally have lived in the south and the heat 1 summer too long. really dislike heat and sweating, if it never got above 78 degrees I would be a VERY happy camper. On a side note seeing about 1" of snow on the ground helps get me in the mood for christmas shopping.
