I'm about finished monokoting and I think it looks good. It's a PT 40 and I ran the red angled part the same line as the angle as the fin. as soon as I finish the aelerons on the wing,I'm going to try to fly this thing. I kind of wish I had bought a finished plane used but I think it's a good thing I built this one. I am already finding things with my buddies plane that I'd change. It's nice that there is tips and hints and options and buying a ready made plane, you kind of have to take it as you get it.

I dont think this photo will post since I dont know how to shrink it down but I will try. Its my PT-40. I am not to proud of the cover job, but at the time all I wanted to do was slap together a trainer to get some stick time.

Dang it worked. hmmmmm doesnt look half bad.

I think your PT 40 looks fine. I can't post my pic. It's too big a file and I can't get it to downsize. I'm bummed. I was hoping to show her off before it becomes one with the dirt. I'll keep trying though

If you can't post it, it's because your file is too big, either the file size or the resolution Use photoshop or any other good photo editing program and reduce the resolution as requested by this site and check the size after that.
When you want to attach a file it tells you the maximum resolution i think.

I'm finishing up my LT-40 with ultracoat. Other than an inside raidus on the cowl cheeks it looks pretty good. The wing tips did fine and those were my biggest fear. I wished I had a digital camera to post a pic.

The picture didn't look so hot but you get the idea. Also. I talked the wife into letting me get another plane. I got myself the Hangar 9 P-51 , .60sizeplane. I don't know why though.I havn't even gotten my first one finished or flown yet. I've got a lot of simulator time and can pretty much put a fighterbird anywhere.
This P-51 will stay around as eye candy till at least this fall I hope. I've wanted her for too long. :-)

I've got an MDS.68 engine you may be interested in for that P51. Let me know. By the way, your PT is looking good. I'm building my first right now. Any advice on building a PT40? Did you run the antenna cable through the fuse or externally?
