I have a Futaba tx 7CAP and I am trying to set the throttle Cut setting. I am reading page 33. It seems like I am following the directions but I am not getting any response when I flip the switch. I have it set for switch A. I have a Futaba 6eaxp and when I pust the throttle cut button the barrel of the carb closes shut. Not so on the 7CAP so far. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I have the same radio make sure when you are in the throttle cut screen were you adjust the percentage of closer that at the top you have turned on the function. it should say off/on not INH.

Thanks Bernie--that seems to do the trick. Doesn't show that step in the manual of having to turn it on. What channel do you use for your throttle cut? I guess I should say what switch.

Yes it does Bernie--Geeze guess I need to read all the lines. Not to stupid---well maybe a little.

Did you get the new 2.4 version of the 7C or the PPM/PCM? I've been flying one for almost 3 years now and really like it. Just make sure you remember which planes have PPM or PCM - you'll wonder what is happening the first time you forget to switch the modulation and your planes doesn't work.

For the throttle kill switch, I use the spring loaded trainer switch. Off hand I don't remember the switch location designation.
