I decided to get a new park zone fw 190 and add some home made landing gear! I wanted to take it out soooooo bad today but it was too windy.[&o]

Cool, nice landing gear mod. I have the parkzone spitfire. Which has the same gear (servos motor battery, ect.) just different airframe and color scheme. It's a great plane.
On my first flight I flew to long and the motor cut off so the battery could still power the servos. It was a great landing except that it was in a cornfield. The fuselage was severly cracked near the tailfeathers. I just put some straping tape on it and 5 min later it was ready for another flight.
The picture below is after the repair.

Nice work! I thought about the spitfire but decided to go with the fw for now. Eventually I think I want to get a sopwith camel, just for nostalgia, and, in my opinion, a real warbird! There's nothing like the old ones!

it has been either windy or raining since about 2 hours after I bought the plane, I am really starting to get bummed out over this deal, I think murphy was watching because here it is 4 days later with no sun in sight.[&o]
