Hey all,
I ran across a new R/C Website a couple weeks ago. It is [link]http://www.hobbywarehouse.com[/link] I recently purchased a Great Planes Pete N Poke from them. First I could not believe the price I paid for it. Also I got my plane within three days after I bought it.
The other thing that blew me away was the fact that their shipping was like 8 dollars cheaper than Tower. I paid 9.00 for shipping and that was it. I am in no way affiliated with this site just so you know. I just thought I would let everyone else know about what I found.
After all isn't that what our R/C flying community is all about. Have you guys enjoy. Have a great day.

They are the same or even a couple bucks less, but the main things is the savings on shipping. Just my two cents so take this post for what it is worth.

Eh Electristar for $299.00 there, while Tower has it for $199.00 and you can get 25.00 off that and free shipping if you join the "club" at Tower.

I often get coupons for free shipping on orders over $50 from Tower and I am not a club member.
That said I prefer to buy from my local hobby shop when possible.

Ok maybe everything is not cheaper there. I thought it would be another site to price shop from. Enough said I guess. Thanks for all your comments though.

Has anyone tried these folks here? Prices sound too good to be true. I think it's in China but every thing we get comes from there nowadays http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_index.asp#

Hobby City IS in China!.
You buy from them, and all your stuff comes out of Hong Kong, shipped to you.
I bought two very tiny Carona synthesized recievers for like $30 each. They seem to work well. Shipped with no problems.
some people have had some issues with product quality, many have not. Just be aware of what you are purchasing. I may go well, and it may not.

hobbycity.com is unitedhobby.. they are incredible bang for your buck.. sometimes parts are DOA or die soon after but all you do is print out a sheet on their website, mail the parts back and they will always replace them! and the parts that do work seem to last well.. they also have an open forum on every single product they offer where you can post feedback about the item or you can read other's feedback about the item before you purchase! i love that feature and think that that alone will provide them with many years of successful business worldwide..
