I have a Futaba T7CAP and was wondering if the TX/RX wall charger will charge the RX battery that comes with the Tribute 36 PNP, it doesn't say what size the battery is that comes with it.
Thanks

yes it does, the problem is I don't know what size the battery is so I don't know if the Futaba T7CAP TX/RX wall charger will charge it.

The receiver battery should be fine.
However BE EXTREMELY careful NEVER to plug a JR charger into a Futaba TX or vice versa.
Their polarities are reversed! Which can blow the TX.

The RX battery has a servo connector on it, that's a standard polarity across all brands. The different brands of TXs have different polarities for their charge connectors: JR is opposite of Futaba. The Futaba RX battery charger should work fine with any RX battery pack, including JR battery packs.

It will have two wires. One is red or orange, the other is black or brown. The red is the + and the black is the -. Connect the colors to colors.. red to red, black to black. (or orange to red.. brown to black) and you will have good connection and it should charge. You can probably see the number of cells in the battery pack. If it has four cells, then it's 4.8 volts ( and most likely is what it is). If it has five cells, then it's a 6 volt pack and probably not good to charge on the wall wart charger.
