My JR sx600 radio does not have a timer... what do you guys use to time your flights?

I think that's where I paid like $4 for a battery operated one. It clips to the handle, and / or the antenna, or on a pocket. If you use the countdown function, beeps plenty loud to signal when your done.

I have never used a timer and for that matter I don't know anyone who does.
I just fly and after a while I land. I have only ran out of fuel a couple of times and dead stick landings are a piece of cake.
You get a feel for how long to fly.
