I have some extra gear laying around and I have found the PNP BL cub for under $100! So I'm deciding if I should snag one. Anyone own the PNP version of the cub? Is it worth getting as well? Thanks!

I haven't flown the brushless cub, but I have flown the regular parkzone J-3 cub and it works well. I'd imagine the brushless would probably climb alot better then the J-3 with the 370 in it.

I would imagine with the BL motor it would fly circles around the brushed cub! I havent had a single problem with any of my other PZ birds so I think I'll give it a go.

when you get the BL flying let me know the difference you see. my brother has the J-3 that I've flown and he's thinking about converting it to brushless or trying to mount the 480 gearbox and motor out of the PZ warbirds in it for a little more ommph. I'm interested to see the BL in comparison.

Wow a 480 brushed from one of the warbirds huh thats major overkill, I don't think the firewall will stand up to a motor like that, your best bet would be to put one of the rimfire motors in it from electrifly or another similar outrunner type.
