Looking for someone in the Austin Tx area who might be able to help me make sense of my JS aircoupe. My elderly father just recently had to sell his full size Ercoupe for health reasons and I would to finish this before he's finished (joke sort of). Any replies would be greatly appreciated. I have started the plane and I don't think I've screwed it up YET! Thanks, Gilbert

Gilbert- Both your farther and you have my deepest sympathy. The js aercoupe model looks good but is a most difficult project. The building sketches and cryptic instructions are worse than useless and factory help is no better. I can only describe the fuse contruction as like trying to re-assemble a banana after removing the fruit.
After all that work the flight characteristics are somewhat dissapointing. It flies like the original - just putters around.
Pity you don't live closer. I am looking for a good home for mine.
