Hi everyone!!
I just started flying a few weeks ago
I got the Avistar and a OS46AX and I can not say enough good about both the plane and the engine.
The DX7 I went with makes it feel like its on a wire.
So after 2 months of G4 sim and 16 training flights I got to fly my first 3 solo flights lastnight as the sun was setting over the bay!!
What a rush!!!

Ah yes.. isn't that a great feeling? Especially after your great and commendable efforts with the SIM and with an instructor pilot. I would imagine that the instructor pilot is also thrilled.
I would hope that many new potential pilots would read your post and get the idea that it IS a good thing to have instruction and sim time, not just sim time and expect that they will fly. It's the way to go, for sure.
Congrats!!

Congrats Jim!! Great feeling isn`t it ? Remember my solo from four years ago like it was yesterday. What do you plan to do with your Avistar? STRONGLY suggest that you keep it as you move on to other planes. Always been glad that I kept mine.
