Greetings All
I was getting the Sig Senior Ready for a Fun-Fly , This last week . When the wifes cat went under the tail section , lifted her butt , and hook her tail . Something spooked her . She Jumped , and the plane went with her . The plane hit just right breaking the mounting flange on the head , where the exhaust screws into .
The trouble is now I can''t find one . They are either on backorder, or order pending a order . Can not get a date of when availability will be . Might be a long wait , bye the sounds of it . [:@] So any help of hobby shop might have 1 in stock , would greatly helpful . or someone might have 1 they might want to part with . The motor is an OS FS-70 Ultimate . the part # for the bare Head is 44704100 or the Head with Valves is # 44704010 .
Thanks for any Help

There is a guy who "fixes'' the broken and stripped exhaust ports. I don''t remember where I saw the ad just now, but one of the guys at the field had him fix a O.S. 91 surpass head and was very happy. Someone will probalby post a link for him.
What a bummer. I piled in a plane last year with a O.S. 52 Surpass and there was only a couple usable things left in the way of engine parts, It litterly blew apart. The exhaust port was intact though, even though the head was broken. The muffler, the crank, and the carb barrell were the only things I could salvage from that crash.
Leave it to a cat to find a way to break something. I''ve got two and one is Bill after the cat in the Opus cartoon strip. If there is a way, he''ll break it.
Don
PS, you might go for a new engine and put your damaged one up for sale. I fly a Magnum 70 and a Mag 91, and they are great running engines. Bolt in replacements for the O.S also. Just a thought.

Bad luck with the cat[:@] Seen a cat once that spooked and hit his head on a metal shelf in the garage, ended up impaling its own tounge on a tooth halfway out of his mouth.

If anyone can fix it, it''s Clarence Lee.

I can''t seem to find a number for him, but a little searching will probably turn one up.

BACK IN THE AIR .
Thanks to one of the club members , who had a FS70 Ultimate in one of his planes . That he doesn't fly much . I was able to get it from him and install in my plane . And get her back flying
I took her out this morning , got a few flights . Just like I remember . Loads of FUN . And not knowing when I am getting the head for the other motor , Still on Backorder . With no signs of a delivery date . [
]
And the Season just getting underway . And not being able to join in the Fun-Fly around the area . Was a let down . But thanks to some Good People in the Club . Lets Go Flying [8D]
Thanks to Everone that helped out
