Default First flight

This afternoon i had my first flight, flying in the morning would have been better as the wind is normally very weak before 2pm. My plane a Firebird XL was to see its first flight and so was I. My friend who also has a Firebird XL was also there, he was the experienced one with a full 20 seconds air time under his belt. I has several flights, most of which were very short, take off, turn left and land (crash). I did however do one nice flight where I took off, turned left went full throttle along the field, went left a bit , turned right, then aimed back towards myself and made a okayish landing. My wing was damaged in three places, all fixed now with gaffa tape. the wing is actually better now than when i started. When the wind really picked up, we went home. I am looking forward to having another go.

Gaffa tape is a bit heavy, it may affect the flying of this very light model.
