Default The moment of truth

Well, in about an hour, maybe two I will be off to the airfield. My ship is repaired and I'm going to fly her.

This will be my second, (and hopefully consecutive) solo flight. I'm a little nervous to be honest!!

Wish me luck

Bah, you don't need luck. You know what you're doing - you're soloed, remember?

Have fun!

4 flights, 1 dead stick. Broken and repaired TX antenna. Airplane still in one piece, didn't even brake a prop!!

TX Antenna pulled apart (Tube pulled all the way out), had to stick it back together and tape it. I did a REAL long range check to be sure and flew it, all good!! They were right, I was ready to solo when they talked me into it..

It was even windy today, cross wind no less.. (Thats what finally chased us all away, wind was getting worse not better) When the experienced guys started packing up due to the wind I decided not to fall prey to "one more flight"

See, I told you that you didn't need luck. Great job!

Just make sure you replace that antenna before you fly again.

Follow up edit:

Just ordered the antenna from the hobbie guy on Ebay, total cost with shipping is less that JR charges from there website, and since most folk around here are FUTABA users I didn't want to risk the LHS not having one. (besides for under $10 it was worth it)
