My flying buddy has been flying the snot out of his Avistar. He got a ARF Kaos. We got the wings hinged and glued together. I also had him fuel proof the motor area which was not in the instructions. It had bare balsa showing. But it went well.

He already went and ironed the covering down as the instructions state. Although there was only one little wrinkle on the rudder. The covering looks great.

Cant wait to get mine. But working on his is a blast. Good practice for putting mine together.

The Kaos is IMHO the second best flying plane every made (Ultra Sport is #1 hands down). If you get one you'll fall in love about 30 seconds after you lift off the runway!!! It's a great plane. I've got 2 (both kit built) of them flying right now, 3 kits stashed, plus the RCM plans that I can build as many as I want from. This is one of a very short list of planes that I think everybody should own at least once. Now if you really want something that will steal your heart away, pick up an Ultra Sport 40 kit while they are still available. This is my all time favorite sport plane and IMHO the best flying sport plane ever built. I will always have at least one Ultra Sport flying in hangar from now on!!!

I am flying the Super Sport in the sim to get ready for my Dolphin. I really like it....fast and yet with the Dual Rate down it flys rather easy. Bill loves the super soprt but wanted to get the tried and true KAOS this time.
