Went to my local club flight park tonight and picked up my first plane!
It's a Hanger 9 Solo Sport trainer. I has a magnum 40 engine with Futaba radio gear, T6EXA. Got it all for 125 bucks. There is some damage to the underside of the wing, but that can be fixed up pretty from what I hear.
Not sure if you can see, but in the last pic it is of a rib that is broke and also at the bottom of the pic is one. So 2 ribs and some wing damage. Good practice IMO.
Here are a few shots:

That should be an easy fix. I did a repair similar to that with the help of RCKen and Minn. Get her fixed up and I hope to see you out at the club field. I went out there tuesday morning. Its a nice setup.

Good plane, good engine. Keep it a long time, work through all the mistakes with it, it will serve you well.
Best wishes,

Nice find! IMO you will be less hesitant with that plane - the more dinged up I get my Nexstar, the more comfortable I am really flying it! And you're right, it will be a good repair lesson. Get some epoxy and some CA and you'll be in the air in no time. Don't for get to wrap your battery and receiver in foam, and clear packaging tape is great for repairing damage to the plane's covering.
