Default Help identify this plane.

I found this plane on top of my mother's closet. A friend of my dad gave it to him some 22 years ago.
It had never flown but suffered quite a bit of hangar rash. The tail was broken off, most of the cockpit missing and the covering torn.
I patched up the fuselage yesterday, recovered the wing and mounted a evo .46 in the nose.
Heading to the field I had my doubts but she flies beautifully if a little quick with that engine. Even glided in nicely after a dead stick.
I am going to buy an evolution .36 and recover the whole thing.
Anybody know what the aircraft is? I am sure it was built from a kit and it kinda looks like a Sig Kavalier.
Sorry about the photo quality but it's off my phone.

Looks a lot like a Goldberg Falcon 56 but the stabilizer shouldn't be flat if it were. It would have an airfoil shape. The canopy was supposed to mount on top of the wing but could be shortened and mounted in front as shown.

Thanks Bruce,

the back half of the canopy originally attached to the top of the wing. Unfortunately it was broken. I am thinking of removing the front piece to.
It is a light plane, any idea if it will fly with a .36?

I haven't experienced an Evolution .36 but if it is a Falcon it should do fine. I've had a couple of Falcons with OS or K&B 40's. and they flew well.
This is the current version of the Falcon KIT http://www.carlgoldbergproducts.com/.../gbga0050.html but they also have an ARF.
