Default Servo Extensions in Wing- Secure Connections

How does everyone secure the extensions for their servos that are wing mounted? The manual for my Senior Kadet indicates to use some tape, but its cumbersome and doesn't seem to hold well. I also looket at using heat shrink tubing, but it's too expensive for two little connections. Anyone every CA them? Any other suggestions?

I use heat shring tubing. $2 gets me enough to do more than a dozen connections! All you need is a 1/8" overlap past the plug ends. I get packages of 4" sections (I think they are 3/8" unshrunk dia.) at my local True Value Hardware. Four to a pack for $1.99

You can also twist a small rubber band into a figure "8" so that it pulls the connectors towards each other.

I use Dental Floss, String or left over Kevlar Cord and tie it in a knot holding the plug togther. Then, a little CA as insurance. Easy to undo should I need too, but it won't come apart on it's own.

They have heat shrink tubing at electronics stores in 3 foot sections for about $2.50.

I use duct tape. It works well and is always available.

I use small wire ties and go length wise between the wires. Its alot cleaner than any tape and less expensive than heat shrink.
