Solo Sport Rebuild
If you saw my thread about my new plane, you will see pics of the wing damage. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7498080/tm.htm
I started the rebuild process tonight and here is what I have thus far:
The rib closest to the servo, I am just going to glue the new rib to the side of the old as it is not it too bad of shape. I figure that will do the trick.
1) Side view of the damage area.
2) Top view
3) New ribs and (I think they are called doublers?)
4-6) Showing how it will all get fitted together. You can see how I am planning on using the :doublers, if that is what they are called and if that is the correct term in the way I am using them.
Now, a question: What type of adhesive should I use? 6min epoxy 30min, or CA.....???????
