Default covering iron

after many years o service my iron crapped out on me, it was a coverite iron.... what would be a good replacement iron? i know there are many choices out there, i have only owned one my whole life, so i dont have much experience

You can still get coverite irons, and they work well. Hobbico makes a good iron too.
