Well, the Senior Kadet is ready to fly, so I went to put the prop and spinner on. I have found that the Dubro Plastic Spinners are nice, they have the locking nusts on the backplate and use Socket cap screws. So I put the proper adapter in the back plate, and I cannot get it all the way up the engine shaft. I get to the unthreaded part, and it will NOT go any further, and there is not a larger ring adapter in the Dubro package, the one I am trying to get on there is the biggest.
Anyone have this problem with the 61? What can I do besides go buy an aluminum spinner? I don't feel too comfotable reaming the adapter out with a dremel, it might not be concentric with the backplate.

Invest in a prop reamer. It's worth it.
The 61 FX has a 5/16 inch shaft if that's any use.
Definitely don't try cutting the hold bigger with a dremel. It will melt the plastic, clog up the cutter, and is bound to go 'off course'.

I have a prop reamer, but reaming out that little adapter is impossible. When I try to do it when it is installed in the backplate, it spins, or pops out, and the darn thing is too small to hold onto it and try to do it...

2 1/4". I have to use a 2 1/4 because that is what will fit in the cowl of the Sig Senior. I was told if I went any bigger, it would not look very good...
