Throttle slider? Do you mean lube. IF you mean a tube the throttle rod slides thru. sounds like it is binding some how. Maybe the tube is not large enough for rod. Will it slide easily when not hooked up.p? If so then your binding somehow. Far as lube. WD or grease. Soap maybe also. But should not need anything such as lube. is ther any corrosion around throttle barrell. Something with the carb not letting it move easily? Can you put a pic of it on here?

I know you said you checked for pinching and binding, but if the tube is large enough, and the rod is straight, there should not be a need for lube. With the engine off, close the throttle all the way, and note where the rod lines up in the tube (at both ends). Then advance the throttle all the way, and see again where the rod lines up. Does the rod go from one side of the tube to the other? (i.e. starts by rubbing on the right side, then moves across and ends up rubbing on the left side). If this is the case, something needs a slight adjustment; maybe the rod has a small bend in the middle, covered by the tube?

I also have a problem on my pulse xt40 throttle. I can't for the life of me find a bind, but I can't keep the servo from buzzing. It's driving me nuts!
