I have a Spectrum DX6 and I just bought a DX6i from [link=https://www.rtrhobbies.com/Products.aspx?ProductNumber=SPM6600&adrec=AD]RTR Hobbies[/link]. I was told that the two radios would buddy box but I need the cable. I tried the local store for the cable but they were back ordered. I have read that it is just a stereo audio cable? Can anyone confirm this? I want to teach my son to fly but with out the cable being avalible I was hoping a stereo cable would get us in the air with out having to wait.

Yep, you hit the nail on the head. That's all it is. You can get a cable at your local Radio Shack that will work. Here is what will fit the bill from Radio Shack.
