Default electronics going crazy

I have a Futaba T6xa and a brand new cc thunderbird 36 amp esc and all new hs-55 servos. I am using a Hitec mini 6s rx. When I plug the battery in, all the electronics go crazy. I turn the radio on first and do everything as I always have. Does anybody know a solution?

Sounds like the RX isn't recieving the signal from the TX, do have a single conversion crystal in the RX? and it is the same channel? is there any postive/negative shift issues?

where is your reciever located, I had that problem on my first elect plane. The reciever was up front with the battery and esc, the high voltage was causing it.

I moved it back towards the rear of the plane, it was a micro and the weight did not make a difference.

It is a single conversion rx and the crystal is too. They are both on ch. 49 I have checked. I will try walking away from it a little bit.

Now that i think about it my friend had a Mini 6 in his .15 glow powered delta combat plane and if he had the radio near the plane while we were starting it the servos would jitter around pretty badly.

Check your routing of your antenna.

I have a Mini 6s in a glow trainer and it is clean. I have a 6EXAP Futaba radio. Make sure like what was said earlier that you have it set to PPM, not PCM. Turn the Tx on a couple of seconds before plugging the Rx battery in.

I am getting some glitching, but it only happens in a certain spot in the pattern.

Good luck and let us know if you find out what the problem is.
Curtis
P.S. Do you know if the ESC is armed when you get this flutter? Maybe a noise issue with the power stage.

I have actually been flying for around 4 years. I have never had a problem like this, I've tried everythng. As soon as I plug in the battery, the motor and servos just go ballistic. I just ordered a new DX7 and an AR6100 Rx. I even bought a new esc thinking it was burned up since it was previously in a crashed plane and the motor was just full throttle in a tree. That was'nt the problem either. I am just getting back into rc again so I needed a new radio anyways.

Was that RX in the plane that hit the tree?, if so you might want to change the crystal, they can go bad after a hard lick, that would explain no signal at the RX.

The Rx is brand new and the crystal too. My new system will be here within the next couple days.
