here's another rumor for ya...My LHS guy says that the China plant rumor is BS...but the story continues to be passed around...people started hoarding fuel, which of course increased demand...increase in demand..with no increase in supply...prices go up...if that is true we just did this to ourselves....

That China "rumor" was perpetuated by every non r/c website I went to. It seems to have been true. Still I'm interested in todays prices, now that the shortage is over and fuel costs are down.

I went into Hobby People to pick up fuel during there sale last week and the owner was telling us that the prices he is paying for it are slowly going down again. Like gas prices it isn't going down as fast as it went up and they have us used to paying higher prices now, we will see!

I paid 20$ a gallon for powermaster, 30$ for byron within the month....
forgot- an plug for power R/C here in town, they've got the lowest fuel prices I've found in Bryan/College station area, and they have just about any fuel you could want

Power Master 15% was $15.00 last week at Hobby People while on sale. It's going for about $20.00 all over town when not on sale. The 20% was $20.00 during the sale, the 5% and 10% don't seem to ever come up on sale for some reason. I'm switching back over to gas again and only keeping three or four glow planes flying. That way I will only need about 10 gallons of glow a year.
