I don't see a whole of talk concerning Fox engines. I thought they had gone under, but was happy to see they are still around. I have a NIB Fox. 74 ABC engine. I am missing the bolts that connect the muffler. I found Fox on the Web, gave them a call, and my muffler bolts are on the way. I guess with that kind of customer attention, I am suprised I don't hear more about them. Anyone else have experience with Fox or their engines? I am also looking for any experience or knowledge concerning my Fox .74 2 sroke.

Foxes are "different." If a person pays attention to those differences and runs the right kind of fuel, the engines have a good reputation. If a person tries to run them as they would any more common engine, the engines have a bad reputation.

My first RC motor was a Fox 40BB Deluxe. I don't own any more Foxes.

I think Fox still has a pretty good following in the Glow Engines forum.

They are still A pretty big name in gas engines with the scale people. I like there 100 twin!
