Default Fuel tank on its side?

I'm going from 6 to 8oz. it will be a tight fit with the foam.
The bubble for the vent should be on the top but I have to turn the tank on its side to make it fit.
I dont think I need the bubble? I'll notch the end of the tube. of course the vent will still point up...

Is there any problem with doing this?

No problem at all. You do not even need to notch your tubing. Just make sure that the air vent is just a smidge below the tank top and it will be good. Good Luck, Dave

Yup, no problem, you just don't want it to touch and rub a hole in the tank.

I agree no problem...all the bubble does is give you a little clearance

I put a short piece of fuel line over the vent brass, about 3/8" long and leave it extend over the end by about 1/16" or slightly more. In the off chance the tube does make contact with the tank, it now has a cushion to prevent any wear damage.
