Hi folks,
I'm toying with the idea of cutting my own registration numbers out of adhesive backed black vinyl, and am looking for a PC font that closely matches the standard registration font.
I've tried googling for the font, but end up presented with an overwhelming list of font links, none of which seem to help. My question is, does anyone out there know of a link to a (preferrably free) font that closely matches the one used for aircraft registration numbers?
Thanks for the help,
Neil.

NC is the old nationality markings. Currently the nationality markings for the United States is the letter N followed by numbers and letters that can be chosen by the aircraft owner.

Had a similar deal with the Hobbistar. Its now got iron on film, so they give you a decal with the reg number and leave a gap in the trim on the side of the plane.
The numbers are sloping (itallic?) and slope in opposite directions of each side. I just went to the craft shop and bought 2" vinyl letters. The letters are straight but they do fit...
BTW those letters are a pain to put on and line up....
