Hey Folks,
I have a Thunder Tiger Cessna 177 GP (3 channel) that has some structural issues and really is not all that fun to fly. I was thinking of putting the .10 size glow engine into a more responsive, low-wing intermediate plane. Or, I could take the OS LA.40 out of my Superstar, but I love that plane, even though I just broke the nose wheel...
Do y'all have any suggestions? I have been logging a lot of hours on the G4 Sim because I've kinda outgrown my planes and I'm not sure I'm ready yet for my nib Extra 330L 50, for which both engines I have are too small.

Give the Herr Lil’ Extra a try. I fly one with an OS .10 FP and it’s a fun little sport plane. I fly mine like a park flyer in a very tight box with the throws at max. Toned down its displays some mild manors, but it’s also not self correcting (it generally stays in the attitude where you put it). If you keep the stock 2 ounce fuel tank you’ll be about 6 minutes of run time, but if you change it out to a 4 ounce you’ll get between 10 and 15 minutes depending on how you manage the throttle.
Check out the 1/2A forum – the Lil’ Extra is popular there and over in RCGroups 1/2A fuel forum also.

If you don't mind building there is this. The P-51 is available through Hobby People. They have ARFed the T6 but that one is probably a bit big for a .10, it appears to no longer be available but you might be able to pick one up somewhere.

Thanks, Fellas.
That is exactly what I needed to hear.
Methinks it's wise to take on the Lil' Extra before the Bigger Extra 330L!
