Default tricks for replacing wing hold down dowel

In my last crash of my tiger, the front wing centering dowel broke off ( the dowel that hold the front of the wing in place), is there any tricks on replacing it so my wing will be in the same spot? or should I drill and install 2 new dowels? or should I do somehting else?

Thanks

Default RE: tricks for replacing wing hold down dowel

I'm gathering the one in the fuse fell right out so sand the remaining dowel on the wing flush and drill the center of the dowel all the way through with a 1/16 or 3/32 drill bit. Work your way up in bit sizes until you reach your dowel diameter and drill right through. Then just epoxy another dowel in. The simplest fix I know of.

Cheers
