In a pinch, can this quick field charger http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXCTZ5&P=ML

I have these charge leads http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXL332&P=ML (the one's on top)

Thanks in advance!

No. The field charger is only designed to charge 9.6 volt packs.

Thanks, I didn't think so. I just found the manual on line and it states not to charge anything but NiCds, NiMH, Lithium-Ion/Polymer batteries.

And I seem to remember being told never to quick charge lead acid batteries, only to trickle charge them at 120 mAh or so.

If my starter dies, I'll either use a chicken stick, connect the starter to a 12V field battery, or call it quits for the day.

Well.....it does charge 11v lipos which are higher then 9.6,but the issue may come down to what "type" of batteries this charger in particular chargers. I know its designed to charge nicd's,nimh's,and lipos...but,the battery your looking to charge is a lead battery I believe which I dont believe would fall into any of those catagories,so that is likely the major issue here not?

And Excellent question by the way!!! I have all this equipment you speak of,so it made me think about it. And I just noticed you mentioned some of this already after I posted....

Cappa it seems to me that you mentioned in another post that you have a Multiplex charger, If so look in the instructions under 12 volt Pb charging.
