OK...I'm trying to test my motor (which I recently found out is a 3 stage motor and not a DC motor) to make sure it still works. It's an Astroflight 05 Brushless 806RM with a Jeti ESC w/ BEC. I just bought a Servo Driver but can't figure out how to hook it up.
I figured out the following (duh...):
3 Wires go from ESC to Motor
2 Wires go from ESC to Battery
Then there's the 3-wire connector and a 2-wire switch. When I look on the servo driver, there's a place for the 3-wire connector and a place for a 5V power source. Am I supposed to cut the switch off and hook it up to the Servo Driver's power source connector?

I found a local Hobby Shop here and got some great assistance. Since the ESC came with a BEC, all I needed to do was hookup the 3-wire connector to the servo driver and adjust the potentiometer. Damn! I've learned a lot about RC stuff in the past few months. Thanks everyone!
