I have probably what would be yet another silly question. I was poking around in the classifieds and noticed that some planes come with servos and batteries. Would that automatically mean they come with a receiver? Would this mean that all you'd need is a crystal for it on the same frequency as your radio? Or can you buy the receiver seperately? I'm sorry to ask such ignorant questions.

Yes and no.

Some people sell the planes with only the servos. Others may or may not sell the entire Flight pack

BTW Be carefull buying used in the classified or elsewhere for that matter. Your lack of knowledge could cause you to get taken for a ride..

I see. thank you for clearing that up. I guess what really confuses me is the radio stuff. So a flight pak would include servos, a battery and a receiver? Then you purchase the crystal with your channel seperately? If this is correct I think I have it.

Sometimes the crystal comes with the flight pack. Sometimes not. Gotta read the fine print, or ask.
