I have a 3 channel Electric plane (Superstar EP) and I want to get all the info before I fly for the first time. I have had generic planes before such as a firebird 2 and other fire bird crap(DONT BUY). This has a big back wing. One servo moves it up and down. If its in down position the plane would CLIMB, Correct? If its up the plane would sink, correct? The other servo moves the tail left and right. I presume the direction the tail moves is the direction the plane would turn too, correct?

See the Beginner info at http://www.rcflightunlimited.com for all the information you need.
Hint...you have up and down the wrong way round.

hold your plane and start walking forwards with it, move the stick and watch the surface, no think carefully to when you drive along and stick your hand out the window, everyones done that and which way does your hand go when you change its angle, so now look at your plane and think, now, if i was the wind, which was would i push this if this thing here went up/down.
now you got it, and you also have a simple understanding of orentation.

Errr.... but if you tilt your hand backwards i.e. down, it goes up. If you tilt the elevator down the plane goes down
.
First you have to realise that if the elevator goes DOWN, it's the TAIL of the aircraft that goes UP and that cause the aircraft overall to go DOWN (or more accurately PITCH down). That's asking a lot of a complete beginnner. I've met a few experienced pilots who couldn't easily think that one through without considerable arm-waving

well,,, i kinda meant the tail would be forced up, making the plane dive, but ig uess i didnt explaine that bit too well. i mean twhat the wind does to that surface, not the plane its self
