PLEASE HELP! I JUST BOUGHT MY FIRST GIANT BIRD. I BOUGHT HITEC 945 (PROG) FOR ALL SURFACES. WHEN I GET THE FUNDS I'M GOING TO BUY THE ZDZ 80 TO PUT IN IT. I HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS FOR ALL YOU GIANT EXPERTS. #1 HOW DO I GET THE 3 DEGREES NEEDED FOR THE THRUST ANGLE FOR THE ENGINE INSTALLATION ON THE PLYWOOD ENGINE MOUNT? #2 WILL EPOXY BE STRONG ENOUGH FOR PUTTING TOGETHER THE ENGINE BOX OR SHOULD I DO SOMETHING ELSE? ALL THE PLANES(10) THAT I'VE BUILT SO FAR ARE ARF'S WITH BUILT IN THRUST ANGLES AND SUPPLIED ENGINE MOUNTS. #3 I BOUGHT AN 8 CHANNEL PCM RECIEVER FOR THE PLANE AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF USING A "Y" CONNECTOR FOR THE AILERONS AND A "Y" CONNECTOR FOR THE (2) RUDDER SERVOS IS A COMMON PRACTICE? I OWN A FUTABA 8U TRANSMITTER AND I CAN MIX 2 SERVOS FOR THE ELEVADOR.#4 IS USING A 6 VOLT RECIEVER BATT. GOING TO BE ENOUGH FOR 2 AILERON, 2 RUDDER, TWO ELEVADOR, AND 1 THROTTLE SERVOS? THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP! I'M SURE I'LL HAVE A TON OF MORE QUESTIONS FOR ALL OF YOU AS BUILDING GETS STARTED. IF ANY OF YOU LIVE IN THE SO. CALIFORNIA AREA AND WOULD LIKE TO HELP ME GET STARTED IN LARGE SCALE RC I WOULD BE FOREVER GREATFUL! GOD BLESS..

Use washers or shims on the engine mount to get the thrust angle. Everything else sounds pretty good.

Post any other questions on the Gaint Scale and Aerobatics forums or do a search there on this plane and you will get plenty of returns.

Last, please check your CAPS lock key as it annoys many people
