Default Prop size for stick

I have a Modeltech Lucky Stick (.40 size) with a Magnum .52 2stroke. Prop is currently a 10x6(recommended for break-in). Plane is 5lbs. It is pretty fast now. Prop speed is 15,200. Love the speed But I have a few places I fly that are pretty tight take offs & landings. What props would be a better to slow the plane down a bit but still have plenty of torque(vertical)? 11x4 / 12x4 ?

I moved from a 11x6 to a 12x4 on my OS 46AX and it slowed it down a bit on landing and improved the torque overall. DG

A 10x6 is way too small for that engine. And 15,000 RPM is way too fast, you'll burn the engine out in no time!

I would go with at least an 11x7, maybe even 12x5 or 12x6

Minn ... some people like to fly really fast ... heheheehehee ... like Minn says, the engine ain't gonna last long at 15K RPM ... 12x4 would be nice for you if you want slow and a bit of thrust.

I am running an 11X6 or 11X7 with that plane and engine. no idea what it tachs at, but rolls about 3 feet, drags the tail, goes straight up until I make it stop. Idles great and lands pretty dang slow.

I had a Magnum XLS .52A on my Tiger Stick .40 ARF. I flew it with a two blade 11x7 and a three blade 10x7 Zinger prop. I liked the three blade best for ground clearance, but the lhs didn't always have spares when I needed to replace one, so I ran two bladed props if necessary.
