Default senior telemaster

hi guys,

could anyone tell me where i can buy a senior telemaster apart from hobbylobby. i have been in touch with this company, who seems to be fine. thay told me the plane is $200 dollars, $75 dollars for shipping plus whatever customs charge to bring into the uk.
do you think this is a tad expensive, or is it just me?
The question being, as a newbee and still learning, I like the look of the plane and how HobbyLobby states how it flies (quite easliy).
Is there any other place anyone can recommend getting the plane from? Is it just the USA or is there a company in the UK I can buy it from?
Thanks for your time and effort, I definately love the look of this plane.

Hobby-Lobby is the only place I know of.
You may consider a plane that is very similar and real close to the same size that you may be able to get easier and perhaps locally.

Unfortunately in you case Hobby Lobby is the only place to purchase this kit. They own the exclusive distribution rights for this plane. The only other option you would have here would be to purchase the plans from RCM and build it from those plans.

Here is one on ebay. Maybe not so expensive.

I will continue to list more great R/C airplane parts and accessories from various estate sales and also a 50 year collection of R/C and C/L airplane model kits and engines, including some hard to find model kits and engines that I will be selling for a good friend. This auction is for a new and unstarted vintage Hobby Lobby Senior Telemaster R/C balsa model airplane kit. 95 inch wing (almost 8 feet). 40-60 engine(not included). Includes diecut balsa parts, landing gear, full scale plans, instruction book. Box and contents are in excellent condition. $15.00 UPS shipping U.S. (I will be charged oversize surcharge because of length of package) 9 pound packaged weight for actual Priority Mail shipping all other International countries. I combine auctions to save you on shipping.

Thanks for looking at my auctions. I am not a expert on everything I sell so please email me with questions or corrections. I don't deliberately try to hide flaws but sometimes I do make mistakes. I stand behind all my auctions (unless stated AS-IS)with a 100% moneyback refund including shipping for returns or sometimes I will make a sales adjustment. Before you leave negative feedback, please give me a chance to make things right and I will do the same for you. I am very patient with my customers when it is time to pay so please keep me updated if there is a delay in payment for items. I will always combine auctions if possible and try hard to get close to actual shipping for all combined sales. I try hard not to over charge for shipping, but since I estimate shipping for midwest and East and West coast, sometimes you pay a little more then actual and sometimes I pay a little more then actual shipping. It usually evens out at the end of the year. I treat my International customers the same as U.S customers. I am in this business for the long haul so please don't play games and bid on items that you have no intention on following through on. Good Luck on my auctions

Item number: 2503159 ending Nov. 3

Hope this helps.

There is a person in the UK that distributes them. He is on here some times. A search for Telemaster in the subject should ferret him out.

The Senior Telesmaster kit that HL sells is made in NY. He has been on here also

There is a Italian company (I think) called Scorpio models that sells a very nice Telemaster called the Telemaster 2000 for 60-90 sized engines.
Graupner also makes a model called the Taxi that is similar.

Scorpio had a series of ready to cover planes back in the late 70's or early 80's that where sold through Tower Hobbies. I saw a couple of them and they where top notch. I'm not sure if they have the same quality, but back then they where as good as any kit you would build yourself.

Sorry for the delay guys. I have been in touch with David Davis. He is a great guy to deal with for the Telemaster planes.

I mistakenly ordered the Telemaster Senior Kit, and realised it was too big a project for me. I got in touch with David and he agreed to take it back and swop it, with the price difference, for the Telemaster Senior RTF.

Excellent plane, came in a huge box. If the plane flies as good as it looks them i am on a winner.

I would highly recommend David Davis for the Telemaster kits in th UK. Great communications and he has also given me a lot if tips. Very helpfull guy.

The wife thought the big box was a Chritmas present for her, how dissapointed was she ha ha ha

Would definately recommend it to everybody
