Hey,
I've been keen to try constructing my own plane from scratch, probably something in the smaller catagory i guess, larger than those "mirco" palm sized ones, but small by R/C plane standards.
I was wondering if anyone knew of any fight sets/kits that included lightweight servos, motors and or recievers in one sort of "bundle pack". Something similar to this by plantraco, http://www.microflight.com/Online-Catalog/Radio-Systems but on a slightly larger scale.
If not, can anyone direct me as to how i'd go about collecting lightweight components and ensuring they are compatable, and/or perhaps explaining how this compatability is achieved? e.g. do i buy a reciever of a certain output volatage and base the motor i buy around that? also are "remotes" programmed to recievers? or are the purchased preprogrammed?
Cheers,
Ben

Would the components from one of these fit your needs?
