My Feedback: (1)
To all Vets:
Many of us served, many served and gave the ultimate. This is their day, the day for all Vets. But, please offer a few moments of silence at the 11th hour this morning especially to those that served and gave the ultimate.
And to ALL Vets: Happy Veterans Day!

I am a Vet as well and my thanks to all my fellow Vets as well as those that serve today. My prayers for those that are in harms way and for those that gave the ultimate price for the freedom and liberty that my family and I are fortunate to have today.

I want to take the time to offer my thanks to all Veterans out there today. My father and both of my grandfathers are also veterans. In 1999 I had the honor of placing a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier. I'll never forget it or those who have served. Check out my signature because you are all proof of it. It's a quote of the great Ronald Reagan.

I served in the US Coast Guard for 20 years and was always awed by the willingness of all our service personal to go into harms way to protect and save. My heart felt thanks to all the current service members and the loved ones doing their job in combat or the home front. There have been many millions of prior service members whom have served with honor, our country, and this is what makes us great. Semper Paratus

As a Vietnam Vet, I'm thankful for the gratitude and honor being shown to our troops today.
Thank you all and hurry home!

Did you happen to see the coverage Monday night on NBC news concerning what has been happening in one area of Canada when a Veteran's body comes home? One particular road that is a common route from the arrival airport is typically lined with thousands of well-wishers with flags, saluting as the procession goes by, etc. One mother talked about what it meant to her to see that as she travelled with her son's body. It was very moving.

I'm not a vet, but have spent a good portion of my life building the front line fighters many of them fly. There have been many vets through my family all the way back to Col. Stewart who served under General George Washington in the War of Independence, and Jackson N. Burgess who gave the ultimate during the Civil War for the Union Army, and my father who served in the occupation of Japan and Korea.
To all the vets out there you have my heart felt thanks for the dedication and sacrifice you have made, especially those who have given the ultimate to bring us the freedom that we take for granted.

Well said, to all of you. And thank you you for that. As well as my thanks to all my fellow Vets. My thoughts and prayers are with all that have served and their families! If it weren't for their sacrafices, be that time in service, minds and/or bodies, or their very lives, we wouldn't have the freedoms we enjoy every day!

Not all of us served in war time. I served from jan 78 to mid 80's, a training mishap put me out unfit for service and still affects me to this day. Still I get on with life as best as I can. NEVER FORGET, but maybe forgive.
