Default Acetone No No

I am posting this here for others to learn from my mistake. I am a total rookie in this department.

I was preparing to make cutouts in some foam cores, and i was was drawing the outlines where i was supposed to cut with a Sharpie, and i made a mistake so i got a paper towel with some acetone and wiped away the sharpie mark along with some foam too. Luckily it was just a minor blemish, and the balsa sheeting will cover it up.

Some pens like the Sharpie will eat foam too. Nothing like having A leaking gas tank in A foam core plane either. Foam is great stuff but A lot of items will melt it and turn it to goo. I'm the guy that always tries to sneak just A little drop of CA where my sheeting seam is starting to come apart. That always works out well.

Try pouring lemon juice in a styrofoam cup. Just make sure it in a big bowl because the cup won't last long.

Gene, I've been trying to email you with the photos of the Ruperts. I got your email buy my replay bounced. Think I'll open a thread under Scratch Build with the photos.

Isopropyl alcohol will erase Sharpie marks. I started using washable marker for stuff like that.
