Default info on hitec reciever

just bought a new hitec laser6 radio with a hitec supreme IIs reciever, the reciever does not have + or- marked on it . my question is which is ground or does it matter as long as all are on same.

The black wire on the power and servo plugs always line up closest to the outside edge of the Rx. Champhered two corners on the plug do offer some resistance to plugging backwards but they can still be forced to plug backwards.

tkanks johnbuckner for the quick reply. the plugs do have a small chafer as you indicateded, but offer no resistance at all. they slip in very easily. this is confusing to someone who has not done much of this. but thanks again for you help.

It doesn't work if you hook it up backwards

There may be more problems than not working if it's in backwards. I connected a battery backwards on a Futaba receiver and had a dead short that almost instantly destroyed the battery. Check carefully before connecting the power.
