I can't find the stuff no where. I have called every hardware store in the county and nothing. Is there a place online that I can get it? I will pay somone to buy and ship it for me. I'll pay shipping the the cost of the downspout and plus some for your troubles. I will only pay so much for a piece of PVC I have called every ace hardware store in the county and other countys and nothing. I have look at lowas and nothing.

I have a piece that I could cut to length and ship to you. I bought a whole piece and only used a couple of feet off the end so I may still have enough for two or three fuselages. Shipping and a few bucks would get it. If you don't get a closer/better offer email me and I'll measure what I have. What length do you need?

When I worked at the Home Depot we stocked it. Didn't really have any aluminum, just vinyl. Unfortunately with those kinds of places, calling is worthless and few know or care what they really stock, so you gotta look for yourself.

I got the local Do-it hardware to order me some about 10 years ago I still have two full ones out in the garage

There are about 3 different sizes. The Canadian is smallest. Then there is the US square and the rectangular. There's also white and brown colors

Mine is the same size as used on the Tower Hobbies Duraplane Aerobat I'm thinking 2 1/4 square inside? I'd have to measure it.

I think I saw some there last week?

There used to be, and might still be, a lady working there named Revay Sweet. You could ask for her and tell her what you're looking for, and she'll hook you up. They'll also cut it down so standard shipping rates will apply. It normally comes in 10 foot lengths.

Fly boy, Our Home Depot, Southerlands, and Lowes all carry it. The Ace hardwares here dont have it. Check your bigger hard ware stores they should have it.

Some people use the small square down spouting for model airplane fuselages

Though this airplane is a kit that comes with the down spouting it will give you an udea of the construction. Many of the scratch built planes have Coroplast wings and tail feathers.

For my spad debonair. It has taken 2 crashes. After the second one; decided to rebuild it. The problem is it was given to me and all I had to do was to mount engine and servos[8D]. I have not seen the man since then nor did I get his number. He wasn't a member neither. I have no idea where or how he got it. I guess I could just epoxy the gear back on;but I still have a hole on the side where I stalled[:@]. I just decided to start out the new year with a new plane.

The first time I got downspout, I bought it online through something like gutters direct, or egutters, or something like that. They cut an 8' piece into three pieces to save shipping costs, but it still ended up costing me like $30 for three fuselages worth.

After hitting every home center and hardware store in a 15 mile radius, I finally found a Do-It-Best hardware store a few towns away that stocked the stuff. It's the same Genova RW200 stuff that bkdavy mentioned. I bought two 10' lengths for about $15 each.

Go online to www.doitbest.com and look for your nearest store. If they don't stock it, they should be able to order it with no shipping charge. I have also heard that Agway will do the same thing.

What I did, was print off the product sheet for the RW200 downspout, and bring it right to the store. They looked it up in their computer, and found it in the back of the store.
