Hi-Tec Supreme RX model HFD-08RD
2 questions: 1) Is the Hi-Tec Supreme 7-8 channel 72MHz both Hi and Low band? 2) do you have to use Hi-Tec crystal or can I use my Futaba? I lied, I have 3 questions: 3) are they any good?

My Feedback: (1)
RE: Hi-Tec Supreme RX model HFD-08RD
The Hi/Lo band thing does not apply to Hitec Rx's that is a problem that only applys to some Futaba Rx's. All Hitec receivers are plug and play on the entire band.
Yes always use the same brand and conversion type crystal in any receiver lest you become a test pilot. In this case you need a Hitec dual conversion crystal eight bucks (blue stripe).
YES THEY ARE GOOD! In my opinion more bomb proof than the equivilent Futaba Product.

Thanks John, it was a gift for a lady that her hubby passed away, so she didn't know anything about it, other than it was still in the box. Will get the proper crystal.
