I'm looking for the best way to tint clear plastic. Any idea's would be greatly appreciated.

Rit dye seem to be most peoples favorite. I know it's mine.

Do a thorough search here on Rit dye if you intend to use it.
Theres more good information on this subject than youll care to read.
The dye will indeed tint your canopy if done correctly. If done incorrectly, its about a 2 week wait for the new one to come in.

Well, after further research through all the past posts, I've decided to go with the Rit Dye.

RIT works great and I usually do mine in the washing machine by setting the water to hot and letting it fill. Do not put in on a cycle though. Also the dye will not work on lexan plastic so don't try you will just waste your time.

The best way to tint is the same way that Opticians Tint Glasses.
