I'm thinking about recovering a wing from a Balsa USA stick 40 that a guy gave me. I'm about to order a iron and sock and a heat gun. Is there anything else I need; I got the blades so thats taken care of. I might take the covering off the tail and recover it as well; but the wing is my mine thing. That way if it crashes and burns; It'll look good doing it[8D]. I thought making it look like the wing had a hole in it; how hard is this. I have seen it before;just don't know if its easy has a first time. It gonna be my 2nd plane and I got an engine with some power so I can try to do some simple aerobatics and it will be my pylon racer. Can some people post some pics so I can get some more ideas? If some have the hole in the wing look; take some pics of it please.
Does anyone know of any vid on covering, I can look at youtube vids but it takes awhile; dial up[&o]. Are there any good books or DVDs on covering. If anyone does have an online vid; I'll go to a computer with high speed. Has anyone learned on this plane; I believe its a trainer from about 20yrs[X(]. How well does it fly; any bad habits
Thanks, Brian

Brian, here are two "How To's" I did on covering.
The first explains a lot of the do's and don't's and the second is a series of videos
Read them in order:
