My friend has purchased a DLG glider. It has a carbon fiber nose cone and no space at all anywhere else.
He is worried about the carbon fiber interfering with his 2.4 ghz receiver if he mounts it internally.
Will it be a problem? Does he have to mount it on the underside of the wing if so? Has anyone got any workarounds for this?
Thanks in advance.

Carbon fiber will definately impact the range of his 2.4 Ghz receiver. The common approach is to poke the antennas out through the fuselage, like cat wiskers. There really is no good alternative approach. If he can place the receiver toward the back of the fuse, this will be less of an issue when he catches the plane.

Thanks aeajr, I will let him know.
So, if I understand you, the receiver itself can be inside the carbon fiber but the short wire antenna poke through small holes in the fuse?
